Best interpolated graffiti at an underground mine in Canada, 2007
I saw this sign when I was down the mine this morning:
Alas! I didn’t have my camera with me, but I doubt I’d have had the presence of mind to record it anyway, what with the ever-present threat of escaping 3m green slimes.
Double alas! I saw no dwarves. Presumably they were all far away from the main shaft, hewing away at the face, singing about gold.

I was sure I’d commented on this to say that it was the best sign I’d ever seen and also to question whether it should be dwarfs?

Posted on 30-Apr-07 at 3:41 am | Permalinkheather: I think dwarfs and dwarves are both acceptable these days, but to me dwarfs are midgets, i.e. persons of stunted growth, while dwarves are squat, powerful humanoids who dig in the earth and sing about gold.
mike: you’ve got to watch out for slimes, wherever you are.
