A brief guide to recreation in Vancouver’s Koreatown

After a day of toil there’s nothing Kate, baby E and I like more than a slap-up feed at Ma Dang Coul Korean restaurant,

Ma Dang Coul

before unwinding in the opulent and exclusive Club DaBong.

Club Da Bong

Opposite each other on Denman at Haro (I suspect common ownership).

You know, you can have a slap-up feed at Ma Dang Coul for ten dollars a head. Like, slap-up-and-a-half.

Well according to one Phanyxx on the website, the club plays a “a sweet mix of Korean and urban tunes” so looks like I’m booking my flight to DaBong after I post this.

Vancover, hear I come, crank that sweet mix up to 11.
