A high quality shirt

There’s nothing quite like a high-quality shirt. Although to be fair I know nothing about shirts - it’s possible that this one is simply the first one that’s ever fitted me properly. Nonetheless it wasn’t as cheap as the rest of my shirts, and it feels sturdy and soft at once on my skin, and I feel as though in terms of shirts I’ve been cripplingly malnourished my whole life and I’ve just had me the shirt equivalent of a succulent 12 oz fillet mignon wrapped in bacon for support and served with an enormous baked potato and a smaller potato stuffed with a luxurious reduction of red peppers and mushrooms.

So - it’s a big fat porker of a shirt then?
Come summertime you’ll be after something lighter but just as luxurious - the Pacific Oyster of shirts, perhaps?

I think I’ve blogged about this before…only not as descriptive…..my catholics vs. convicts shirt holds a special special place in my heart….there’s nothing like a slightly more expensive shirt to warm your heart & set the bar for future shirts :) (my shirt does not apply to the ‘more expensive’ statement…it was $3 at goodwill)

pog - it is a well-fitting shirt, make of that what you will. I like your use of the oyster analogy.

lexy - I’m not sure about the potential pulling power of my high quality shirt - it takes a knowledgable eye to notice the innate qualities of a shirt like this - and of course when I say it was more expensive than my other shirts I don’t mean that it was what most people would call an especially costly shirt.

Norah - could it be the three days’ growth I have about my chin? Or maybe… no… she wouldn’t have noticed… no, it wouldn’t be that. Not my high quality shirt.
