A larger, colder Belgium

Belgium.

Not big enough, and not cold enough.

It’s time Brussels sprouted. It’s time Friesland became Freezeland.

I’m not concerned with the incidence of twerps in Belgium, Heather, although you seem to have some private agenda in that regard; for my part I care only the about bigness (or otherwise) and coldness (or otherwise) of the place.

It was pretty damn chilly in the Grand Place last December …. though perhaps kitten-heeled boots weren’t the best choice for tippy-toeing around on icy cobbles.
Never had Gluhwein been so appreciated.

A photograph of Kate - wow. I always thought of her as having shorter hair.

belgium is not cold. try Luton: it is as cold and it is wet, which makes it even colder. And it is boring like a cold wet hell.

pog - that image will endure, y’know.

froot - you’ve rumbled us, and Kate’s not happy. expect a Doc Marten in your blogface any day, along with a viscious squirt of aerosol paint.

Heaver - i’m told Kate resembles “a young Grace Kelly,” and I agree, although I’m not sure I could pick Grace out of a line-up of hollywood stars at their peak before I was born.

grito - i’ve tried Luton, and I can tell you you’ve fucking nailed it perfectly in those four words - “a cold wet hell.” Marvellous. But the world already knows my thoughts on Luton.
