yes, menace they do really - you must read Patagonia Revisited (I think) with P Theroux and Bruce Chatwin and also P Theroux - The old Patagonian Express….

Posted on 30-Sep-03 at 3:05 am | PermalinkMagellan penguins, yes. They travel there in the spring. They are fetching little fellows, with stripes on their coats. I think they ride glaciers on the way up and try not to get pushed off on the way by more mercenary penguins.
